Accountant (SAP)

Role overview

An established and expanding business group in Dubai is seeking a skilled Accountant to strengthen its finance function. The role is based in Dubai Silicon Oasis and requires solid accounting expertise along with practical SAP experience. The company works across multiple sectors and values efficiency, innovation, and high-quality client delivery.

Work schedule

The position follows a Monday to Friday working pattern.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, examine, and keep up to date accurate financial statements and reports.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
• Oversee credit control activities, follow up on overdue balances, and support debt recovery efforts.
• Carry out bank reconciliations and ensure financial records remain accurate.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis activities.
• Coordinate banking-related tasks and financial transactions.
• Record and process transactions correctly in SAP.
• Protect the confidentiality of financial data and company records at all times.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related discipline.
• At least 5 years of professional accounting experience.
• Hands-on experience using SAP is mandatory.
• Strong understanding of financial reporting, reconciliations, budgeting, and credit control.
• High attention to detail with strong analytical capability.
• Ability to stay effective in a busy, fast-moving environment.
• Professional conduct, integrity, and discretion are essential.
