Accountant - Corporate Services

Company Overview

A consulting firm specializing in corporate services is seeking to hire an Accountant for their team based in Jumeirah Lake Towers, Dubai.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage accounting and bookkeeping activities for various client companies.
• Prepare financial statements compliant with IFRS standards.
• Coordinate with external auditors during audits.
• Submit VAT returns and corporate tax filings as required under UAE regulations.

Qualifications and Experience

• Possess a bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Have at least one year of accounting work experience within the UAE.
• Demonstrate strong familiarity with IFRS, financial reporting procedures, and UAE tax laws including VAT and Corporate Tax.

Skills and Attributes

• Proficiency in English language, both written and verbal; knowledge of Arabic, Turkish, or Russian is advantageous.
• Detail-oriented with excellent accuracy and the ability to meet strict deadlines.
• Experience with Xero accounting software is beneficial.
