Role overview
This position sits within the Account Management & Customer Success organization and is centered on driving early-stage pipeline for core accounts. The role combines outbound prospecting with some inbound lead follow-up, with a strong emphasis on discovery, qualification, and building high-quality opportunities that support revenue growth. It does not involve closing deals, but it plays an important part in moving opportunities forward and helping account teams hit their goals.
What you'll do
- Reach out to prospects proactively and handle incoming account leads to create qualified opportunities for Account Managers and Business Development Representatives.
- Run discovery conversations and assess prospects carefully before passing them along.
- Work toward or beyond monthly and quarterly targets tied to qualified opportunities and pipeline contribution.
- Collaborate with Account Managers, Business Development Representatives, and Customer Success Managers across a fixed account book to expand growth opportunities.
- Re-engage stalled deals by increasing account activity and keeping momentum moving through the funnel.
- Research accounts and territories to identify new contacts, decision-makers, and expansion opportunities.
- Use tools such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Outreach.io, and Highspot to create tailored outreach.
- Keep Salesforce records accurate so opportunity progress remains visible and organized.
- Review customer interactions in Gong and use those insights to improve outreach and qualification approaches.
- Develop strong knowledge of PitchBook’s products and private capital markets to add value in every conversation.
- Help reinforce the company’s values, culture, and team standards through your day-to-day behavior.
- Take part in company initiatives and special projects as needed.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree is required.
- At least 1 year of experience in outbound prospecting is expected.
- You should bring a customer-first mindset and enjoy connecting with potential users to grow accounts.
- Experience using Salesforce or another CRM is preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, along with attention to detail, are important.
- An interest in financial markets or services, especially private equity and venture capital, is desirable.
- You should work with urgency and be focused on delivering results.
- Good prioritization skills are needed to manage a sales pipeline effectively.
- Comfort working with a wide range of clients is important.
- You should be persistent, goal-driven, and able to contribute well in a team setting.
- Willingness to try new approaches and work collaboratively is valued.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Outlook, Word, and Excel, is required, along with the ability to learn new systems quickly.
- You must already be authorized to work in Singapore without needing visa sponsorship now or in the future.

Working conditions
This role is based in an office environment and is expected to be on-site five days per week. The work involves regular use of a PC and telephone throughout the day. Limited business travel may be needed for visits to other offices, meetings, or events.
