Role Overview

We are seeking a dedicated 3.5-ton tail lift delivery driver based at our Haslingden site. The position involves delivering customer orders efficiently along predetermined routes and supporting warehouse staff as needed. The weekly schedule is Monday through Friday, 44 hours per week, with start times varying from 6am.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure timely and accurate delivery of customer orders using our digital Big Change system and delivery documents.
• Unload and load customer orders following assigned routes, promptly reporting any issues encountered to the dispatch office.
• Complete and secure all delivery documentation, returning it to the dispatch office through the designated driver's pack.
• Conduct thorough vehicle and auxiliary equipment inspections before operation and report any vehicle defects immediately via a digital tablet.
• Maintain the vehicle regularly to ensure safe and efficient operation.
• Provide assistance to warehouse personnel when required.

Candidate Requirements

• Possession of a full, clean driving license.
• Experience in multi-drop delivery operations.
• Strong familiarity with the UK road network.
