The opportunity

This role offers the chance to support a high-performing and adaptable workforce. As a Workforce Planning Advisor within the Finance and Business Performance team, you will work closely with the Workforce Planning Lead to connect the right people with the right work at the right time. Your focus will be on enabling smooth movement between client assignments while balancing skills, experience, development goals, client demand, and business priorities.

You will play an important part in strengthening workforce engagement and capability, helping the business deliver strong outcomes for clients while supporting organisational growth. Building effective stakeholder relationships, anticipating resource requirements, and contributing to strategic staffing decisions will be central to success in this role.

Contract details

This position is offered as a fixed-term contract for 24 months, equivalent to 2 years.

What you'll do

  • Allocate talent effectively by aligning people to assignments that fit the required skills, role expectations, and business needs.
  • Improve workforce usage by spotting billable work opportunities, managing bench capacity proactively, and supporting overall performance.
  • Weigh client requirements against employee development by considering capability, experience, and career objectives when planning placements.
  • Use workforce data and insights to guide staffing choices, capacity planning, and broader workforce initiatives.
  • Develop trusted working relationships with stakeholders to understand current and future resourcing needs and deliver practical solutions.
