Wedding Coordinator - Full-Time or Part-Time

About The Role

BrookLodge & Macreddin Village is looking to expand its Weddings Team by hiring a motivated, customer-oriented, and experienced Wedding Coordinator. This role involves guiding wedding couples through every stage of their special day, from initial introductions to the final celebration, within the unique village setting at BrookLodge Hotel. Ideal candidates will have a strong background in events, hospitality, or sales, combined with a passion for delivering outstanding weddings.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all phases of weddings and events, beginning with inquiries and concluding with follow-ups after the event.
• Develop and nurture meaningful relationships with couples and event planners, ensuring a bespoke and professional service experience.
• Work closely with internal teams to ensure smooth planning and execution of events.
• Maintain high standards for customer service and effective event management as part of the Sales & Events team.
• Keep precise records and documentation to facilitate clear communication and streamlined administration.
• Convert prospective enquiries into confirmed bookings, supporting the hotel's revenue objectives.
• Provide assistance in coordinating and managing weddings on the event day as necessary.

Requirements

• Prior experience in event planning, hospitality, or sales roles.
• Strong communication skills and a confident, approachable demeanor.
• Proficient computer skills, with knowledge of hotel management systems and Microsoft Office preferred.
• Exceptional organizational capacity and meticulous attention to administrative details.
• Willingness to work weekends, evenings, and variable hours in line with business requirements.
