The Opportunity

At Brale, stablecoin issuance, redemptions, and reserve oversight occur within the infrastructure layer of the financial system. Our Treasury Analyst plays a critical role in managing how funds flow daily, including reserve positioning, wallet funding, wire transfers, and the balancing of funds across banking and blockchain-based channels. This integral position treats treasury operations as a core product function rather than a mere support task.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily reserve levels, monitoring positions to ensure sufficient coverage across fiat and blockchain accounts, promptly identifying and escalating any irregularities.
• Conduct and supervise wire transfers, ACH settlements, and wallet fundings involving Brale's banking and custodial partners.
• Design and maintain workflows for treasury fund rebalancing, ensuring optimal distribution across payment rails, partners, and reserve accounts.
• Develop and refine operational controls, reconciliation practices, and comprehensive documentation to accommodate increasing transaction volumes.
• Collaborate closely with finance, compliance, and engineering teams to enhance treasury process reliability and audit readiness.

Success Metrics in the First Six Months

• Achieve zero failures in payments, deposits, or funding resulting from operational mistakes.
• Fully document and systematize rebalancing workflows, minimizing the need for manual interventions.
• Establish full ownership of the daily reserve monitoring routines, including clearly defined escalation protocols.

Candidates Should Bring

• At least two years of treasury operations, cash management, or payments operations experience within banks, fintechs, financial infrastructure, or blockchain companies.
• Practical expertise in executing wire transfers, handling bank portals, and reconciling balances across multiple accounts.
• Exceptional operational accuracy with a proactive approach to detecting discrepancies, documenting activities, and completing tasks independently.
• Familiarity with both traditional banking and emergent payment systems; prior exposure to stablecoins or crypto custody is advantageous.
• Experience liaising directly with banking partners, custodians, or payment processors is highly desirable.
• Bonus: experience in early-stage or scaling fintech environments involving building processes from the ground up.

Work Culture and Expectations

• Close cooperation with Finance, Compliance, and Engineering to address and resolve operational challenges that span multiple departments.
• Preference for asynchronous communication complemented by rigorous written documentation; ownership of one's operational area with proactive issue reporting are essential.
• Proficiency with banking portals, custodial platforms, internal tools, and software such as Notion and spreadsheets for process documentation; an ability to quickly learn new tools is required.
