As a Transportation & Installation (T&I) Coordinator in our Project / Engineering / Operations Department, you will play a crucial role in supporting the successful completion of T&I activities throughout the project lifecycle. Your role involves coordinating interfaces across engineering, procurement, construction, installation, and commissioning teams, ensuring adherence to safety, quality, contractual, and project requirements.
Main Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate interactions among engineering, procurement, construction, installation, commissioning, contractors, and third parties.
- Develop and maintain interface management tools such as systems, registers, agreements, and documentation.
- Serve as the primary contact for communication and resolving interface-related issues among the stakeholders.
- Organize and facilitate interface meetings, technical reviews, and cross-functional coordination to align project activities.
- Track interface deliverables, timelines, milestones, and key performance indicators, implementing corrective measures when needed.
- Ensure seamless integration of engineering outputs, system boundaries, and project package interfaces.
- Identify and evaluate interface-related risks and support Management of Change (MOC) processes.
- Support activities related to construction, transportation, installation, commissioning, startup, shutdown, and tie-in through effective interface management.
- Coordinate with procurement teams to guarantee timely availability of materials and equipment.
- Prepare comprehensive reports, dashboards, meeting records, and progress updates while ensuring complete traceability and documentation.
- Promote compliance with health, safety, and environment (HSE) standards, uphold quality assurance, and drive continuous improvements through lessons learned and best practices.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or a related discipline.
- Between 7 to 15 years of experience within EPC/EPCI, offshore Oil & Gas, Energy, Marine, or Infrastructure projects.
- Demonstrated expertise in T&I coordination, interface management, project engineering, or project execution.
- Experience managing interfaces across multi-disciplinary and multi-contractor offshore or brownfield projects.
- Familiarity with project lifecycles from FEED to commissioning and startup phases, including risk management, MOC, and interface controls.
- Previous work with international teams and clients, particularly in offshore and Middle Eastern project contexts, is advantageous.
- Fluent in English (mandatory).
Technical Skills and Knowledge
- Deep understanding of T&I operations and EPC/EPCI project execution.
- Acquaintance with project lifecycle stages including FEED, engineering, construction, commissioning, and startup.
- Experience with risk management, MOC procedures, project planning, and interface control.
- Proficient with Primavera P6, Microsoft Office suite, and engineering/document control systems.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, procedures, and project documentation.
- Strong coordination, communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving abilities.
