Role overview

At Elis, you will begin a two-year trainee journey in production at the Alsfeld site. The position starts immediately, is full-time, and is permanent. The programme is designed to build your leadership capabilities step by step in a practical, future-oriented environment.

Your development path

The trainee programme combines hands-on work, structured learning, and close support from the production leadership team. It is intended to prepare you for a management role in the future through tailored on-the-job development.

Key responsibilities

• Take on early responsibility in production and help maintain a positive, respectful working atmosphere aligned with Elis values.
• Work alongside the production manager to improve workflows, plan smooth production operations, and review important performance figures.
• Keep an eye on staffing needs and production flow so day-to-day operations run efficiently and with the right overview.
• Attend regular trainings and development sessions to build the skills needed for a future leadership position.
• Coordinate closely with customer service, fleet, and technical teams to ensure reliable service delivery for customers.

Profile and requirements

• You hold a completed bachelor’s or master’s degree in logistics, business administration, industrial engineering, or a similar field, or you have an equivalent qualification as a master craftsman.
• You are eager to take on responsibility quickly and want to grow into a leadership position.
• Previous exposure to production or logistics is an advantage, for example through work as a student employee or intern.
• You bring initiative, motivation, and a strong willingness to learn and keep developing yourself.
• You have German language skills at C1 level or higher, both spoken and written.
