Role Overview

The Territory Service Representative (TSR) in Operations is the frontline brand ambassador responsible for timely pickups and deliveries within an assigned territory, ensuring superior customer service and professional representation of Blue Dart. The TSR ensures shipments are handled safely, scanned accurately, COD collections are executed properly, and Proof of Delivery compliance is maintained, collaborating closely with shift leaders and branch teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform prompt pickup and delivery of shipments within assigned routes, strictly adhering to service timelines.
• Verify shipment details before handling, ensuring careful transport to avoid damage or loss.
• Maintain efficient delivery productivity and route optimization.
• Present a professional and courteous demeanor during all customer interactions, providing basic query resolution and escalating concerns as necessary.
• Collect Cash on Delivery payments accurately and remit them in a timely manner following company procedures.
• Obtain and manage Proof of Delivery and shipment documentation with precision.
• Utilize handheld scanning devices or approved digital platforms to update shipment statuses in real time.
• Comply with all standard operating procedures and company policies related to operations, safety, and customer service.
• Adhere to road safety guidelines, ensure secure handling of shipments, and wear prescribed uniforms and protective equipment.
• Maintain assigned vehicle or personal two-wheeler in proper condition, ensuring all legal documents are valid and cleanliness is upheld.
• Demonstrate punctuality, discipline, teamwork, and uphold Blue Dart's brand reputation through conduct and appearance.
• Collaborate effectively with shift in-charges and operational teams, supporting during busy periods and contributing to branch goals.

Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum educational qualification: 8th Standard pass; additional education is advantageous.
• Fresher candidates or those with up to 2 years experience in courier, logistics, distribution, retail delivery, or field operations preferred.
• Experience specific to pickup and delivery operations is beneficial.

Eligibility Criteria

• Applicants must be at least 18 years old.
• Possession of a valid two-wheeler or four-wheeler driving license is mandatory.
• If using a personal vehicle for the role, ownership of a two-wheeler is required as per company policy.
• Candidate must be physically fit to perform field operations.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays based on business needs.

Key Skills and Competencies

• Proficiency in pickup and delivery operations and shipment handling.
• Competent in cash collection (COD) and proof of delivery procedures.
• Skillful use of mobile scanning devices and basic computer/mobile applications.
• Familiarity with assigned routes and basic English reading and comprehension.
• Strong customer focus, integrity, reliability, safety awareness, teamwork, discipline, time management, accountability, a positive attitude, and professional appearance.
