Technical Services Representative

Role Overview

Aquafin, Inc. is looking for a Technical Services Representative to provide expert support to customers and internal teams concerning our waterproofing, concrete repair, and protective coating solutions. This position is pivotal in ensuring correct product specification, application, and optimal performance across various commercial and infrastructure projects. Candidates may work remotely or from our headquarters in Elkton, MD depending on location and experience.

Primary Duties

• Deliver expert technical assistance to customers, distributors, engineers, and contractors.
• Evaluate project specifications and submittals to confirm appropriate product choices.
• Offer recommendations for system designs and resolve field-related technical issues.
• Address inquiries regarding product applications and provide solutions to jobsite challenges.
• Lead both virtual and face-to-face training for installers and design professionals.
• Partner with sales teams to strategize projects and offer customer support.
• Record field observations, performance feedback, and application outcomes.

Candidate Profile

• Minimum 2 to 3 years of technical experience within construction materials, specifically waterproofing, concrete repair, or a related area.
• In-depth knowledge of commercial construction operations and jobsite demands.
• Skilled in interpreting technical drawings, specifications, and product documentation.
• Strong verbal and written communication capabilities.
• Able to engage effectively with contractors, engineers, and architects.
• Well-developed organizational and time management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree in Civil, Structural Engineering, or a related discipline is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Practical field experience with coatings, sealants, membranes, or repair mortars is a plus.
