Programme overview

The Future Talent Programme is Etex’s two-year global graduate scheme for ambitious engineers who want early accountability, international exposure and long-term career progression.

You will complete four rotations of six months each across international sites, working on meaningful projects from the start. Throughout the programme, you will be supported by experienced leaders and by a peer group of other graduates. At the end of the programme, Etex will work with you to define the next step in your career.

The graduate track is centred on engineering excellence and operational delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with the planning and execution of engineering and operational projects across global sites.
• Help improve processes, optimise systems and support better business performance while learning from on-site experts.
• Collaborate with local teams, contractors, suppliers and cross-functional partners to deliver work safely and effectively.
• Follow company rules, local legal requirements and health and safety standards at all times.
• Prepare project updates and presentations, monitor progress, and flag risks as well as improvement opportunities.
• Contribute to sharing proven practices between sites and support continuous improvement activities.

Candidate profile

You should either hold a master’s degree in engineering, such as mechanical, electrical or civil engineering, or be close to finishing one.

Experience in an industrial or engineering setting is helpful but not mandatory.

The role suits someone with an entrepreneurial attitude, a proactive working style, strong analytical thinking and genuine curiosity for solving problems and delivering results.

You must communicate clearly, adapt quickly and enjoy working with diverse international teams.

Fluency in English at C1 level and German at C2 level is required; additional languages are an advantage.

You must be willing to travel and spend at least one six-month assignment abroad.

Applicants must live in Europe and already have the legal right to live and work in a European country.

A valid driving licence that is recognised for driving in Europe is mandatory, as it is needed to reach some remote programme locations.
