Overview
The Team Lead serves as the primary point of contact for team members, requiring outstanding communication abilities. This role demands proactive management to ensure seamless team functionality, collaboration, and daily supervision, motivation, and guidance of team members to enhance group dynamics and achieve key performance indicators (KPIs).
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee performance and people management of the team.
- Motivate, develop, and mentor team members in a fast-changing environment.
- Monitor ongoing projects and transactions, providing constructive, qualitative feedback.
- Handle escalations effectively.
- Possess strong hands-on understanding of processes to diagnose gaps and propose improvement plans.
- Drive process performance aiming to meet and surpass quality standards.
- Lead the team by example, implementing best practices.
- Demonstrate knowledge of Management Information Systems (MIS) and reporting; experience with Google Office Suite is advantageous.
- Exhibit excellent problem-solving and lateral thinking skills.
- Maintain accurate delivery reporting.
- Adapt to working in a 24/7 operational environment.
- Show flexibility, ownership, and resilience under pressure and tight delivery timelines.
- Monitor, coordinate, and supervise daily team activities.
- Manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Drive continuous process improvements and maintain process hygiene.
- Provide coaching and feedback to team members.
- Create and track improvement plans, taking necessary follow-up actions.
- Identify training needs and coordinate coaching sessions with stakeholders.
Qualification & Skills
- Graduate educational qualification is required.
- A minimum of two years' experience as a Team Lead is essential.
- Experience or understanding of multicultural environments and international operations.
- Capability to manage multiple shifts and support multilingual teams.
- Ability to lead initiatives with creativity and long-term strategic vision.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications.
- Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision.
- Strong problem-solving, logical reasoning, and analytical capabilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- High aptitude and competency in data interpretation.
- Awareness of Lean management principles and familiarity with the Seven Quality Control (7 QC) tools.
