Support Assistant

Overview

The British International School Abu Dhabi, part of Nord Anglia Education, is looking to hire an enthusiastic and adaptable Support Assistant to join their dedicated operations team. This role is centered on contributing positively to the school community by assisting students, parents, and staff, ensuring smooth operational support across the school environment.

Role and Responsibilities

• Assist in student supervision on school buses, including registering students on and off and maintaining communication with parents to guarantee safety throughout the journey.
• Provide administrative and practical assistance in various school areas, such as classrooms, library, clinic, and offices when not assigned to transport duties.
• Support teaching and learning activities by helping teachers and students during lessons and breaks to foster a positive and nurturing atmosphere.
• Contribute to promoting a culture of care, happiness, and achievement within the school environment.
• Maintain excellent communication, organisation, and interpersonal skills to adapt effectively within a busy international school setting.
