Key Responsibilities

• Work closely with Directors, Managers, and Associates throughout deal phases, from origination to closing, gaining practical experience on live transactions.
• Support business development efforts by identifying and assessing potential deal opportunities and helping prepare client and investor pitch materials.
• Construct detailed financial models and conduct thorough financial analyses to underpin strategic client decisions.
• Assist in creating marketing documents such as teasers and Confidential Information Memoranda to promote fundraising mandates among target investors.
• Research market trends, industries, companies, and capital markets to inform transaction strategies and investor targeting.
• Participate in training sessions covering private credit, financial modeling, advanced Excel techniques, and office productivity tools.
• Receive mentorship and coaching from seasoned deal professionals, benefiting from continuous feedback and guidance.

Candidate Profile

• Currently enrolled in a degree program in Finance, Accountancy, Business, Economics, Engineering, or related fields at a recognized local or international university.
• Strong academic achiever, preferably with at least second-class upper honours or equivalent; prior internships in corporate finance or investment banking are an advantage.
• Demonstrated passion for finance and deal advisory, including interests in investment banking, private credit, private equity, or M&A.
• Proficient in financial modeling, valuation techniques, and MS Office applications — evidenced through coursework, internships, competitions, or self-study.
• Analytically gifted with the ability to distill complex information into actionable insights and sound commercial conclusions.
• Highly motivated self-starter capable of delivering precise, high-quality work under tight deadlines.
• Adaptable, resilient, and comfortable in fast-paced, intense deal-making environments.
• Excellent communicator with polished verbal, written, and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging senior professionals confidently.
• Team-oriented with entrepreneurial mindset, collaborative spirit, curiosity, and willingness to contribute beyond assigned tasks.
• Multilingual abilities are advantageous, supporting cross-border deal work in Asia and beyond.
• Familiarity with AI and generative AI tools is considered a strong plus.
