Role Overview

This role invites an experienced, motivated, and organized individual to join the Toowoomba team full-time as a Store Person / Delivery Driver. The position goes beyond standard delivery tasks, requiring hands-on involvement in a lively, community-oriented environment. Responsibilities include delivering products to local farms, supporting store operations, and fostering strong customer relationships within the region. The role also requires availability to work Saturdays on a roster basis.

Key Duties

  • Receiving, unloading, and securely storing incoming inventory.
  • Keeping the warehouse clean, safe, and well-organized according to workplace health and safety standards.
  • Ensuring safe and reliable delivery of rural products to farms and local businesses.
  • Following and navigating rural routes to achieve punctual and accurate deliveries.
  • Supporting all facets of rural retail operations such as sales assistance, merchandising, and yard maintenance.
  • Providing friendly and solution-oriented customer service both at the store counter and during deliveries.

Candidate Profile

  • Hold a clean heavy vehicle (minimum HR) driver's licence with a solid safety record.
  • Possess a forklift licence or be willing to acquire one.
  • Bring previous experience in warehousing, delivery driving, or rural retailing.
  • Demonstrate a strong commitment to safety and thorough understanding of WHS and traffic regulations.
  • Be knowledgeable about local rural routes.
  • Capable of managing physical manual tasks safely.
  • Exhibit strong communication skills and a customer-centric approach.
  • Show effective time management, attention to detail, and basic computer competence.
  • Work well within a small, cohesive team environment.
  • Be available to work Saturdays on a rotating roster.
