Stock Coordinator

Job Overview

The Stock Coordinator will manage the reception, inspection, storage, and accurate record-keeping of merchandise. This role ensures organized stock levels and facilitates the smooth transfer of products from storage areas to the sales floor, collaborating closely with store managers, sales teams, and other staff to maintain high organizational standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Physically and electronically receive merchandise, verifying accuracy of information.
• Conduct quality inspections and promptly report any damaged goods to management.
• Handle and store merchandise properly to avoid damage.
• Organize and classify stock in the storage area according to store protocols for quick access.
• Tag newly arrived items or process returns as directed by supervisors.
• Support sales staff by replenishing shelf stock to ensure continuous product availability.
• Maintain constant vigilance regarding store security and prevent negligence.
• Uphold rigorous housekeeping and cleanliness standards within the store.
• Be available to work extended hours during promotional sales or festival periods.
• Possess physical fitness to lift items weighing approximately 10 kilograms.
• Maintain accurate records of inventory moving in and out of stock and prepare related reports.
• Identify and report missing price tags.
• Provide assistance during stock audit and counting processes.

Experience & Skills

The position requires strong organizational abilities and familiarity with warehouse management systems for effective stock monitoring. Prior experience in retail stock management, warehouse operations, or logistics roles is advantageous.
