Role Overview
The role is for a Staff Nurse based in Wicklow (CHO6), with relief opportunities at Silverpine House in Bray. This position involves working within a community-based respite and holiday service catering to children with physical, sensory, or mild to moderate intellectual disabilities. The position is a relief contract with annual leave of 33 days pro rata and a salary range of €34,492 to €50,362 per annum (pro rata), with eligibility for pay increments including Long Service Increments and enhancements from the 2025 WRC agreement applicable to Section 39 organisations.
Responsibilities
- Participate as a proactive member of an innovative multidisciplinary team.
- Provide nursing care within a quality-assured framework specifically tailored for respite care of children with disabilities.
- Fulfill the clinical and administrative duties as outlined in the full job description.
Requirements
- Applicants must be registered or eligible for registration in the General Nurse Division by the Nursing & Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI).
- Possess the clinical expertise and administrative skills necessary to perform the role effectively.
- Eligibility to work in Ireland is essential.
- Maintain valid and current annual registration with NMBI and confirm registration periodically to Enable Ireland.
- Desirable: Minimum one year post-qualification experience and background working with children with disabilities and their families.
