Role overview

The Specialty Care Representative will cover a territory in NSW + Metro and support specialist healthcare customers across gastroenterology, dietetics, allergy, respiratory, ENT and paediatrics. This is a permanent role that may be offered on a full-time or part-time basis.

What you will do

• Build regular engagement with specialists and allied health professionals across the assigned therapeutic areas.
• Make sure prescribers and allied health practitioners understand, stay informed about, and are supported in the use of relevant Viatris products.
• Carry out sales visits routinely within the territory described above.
• Develop and maintain productive relationships with key opinion leaders, prescribers, allied health professionals, and individual accounts.
• Identify and convert opportunities across each account to strengthen performance.
• Meet reach and frequency visit targets while delivering business development activity.
• Achieve the revenue budget set for the role.
• Keep Veeva CRM records accurate and up to date in all respects.

Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree is required; qualifications in Pharmacy, Science or Nursing are preferred.
• Demonstrated success in sales with a strong performance record.
• Background as a Hospital Sales Representative is needed.
• High-performing GP representatives with at least 5 years’ experience, and who are developing into specialty care sales, will also be considered.
• Experience in gastroenterology and dietetics, allergy, respiratory, ENT or paediatrics is an advantage.
• Prior work experience in the Australian pharmaceutical industry is essential.
• You must be comfortable influencing others and able to persuade, negotiate and drive outcomes effectively.
• Applicants must be eligible to work in Australia, either as an Australian citizen or through an appropriate visa.
