About the Position
The Data Protection Authority (Urząd Ochrony Danych Osobowych) is seeking a Specialist to join the Preliminary Control Department for Complaints and Violations, specifically the Preliminary Control of Complaints Division. This full-time role is based at the Authority's Warsaw office and offers employment under a work contract.
Main Responsibilities
- Conducting activities related to the initial assessment of complaints received, including managing case files, completing formal deficiencies, dismissing complaints without consideration, and forwarding cases to other organizational units of the Authority.
- Preparing draft decisions for the President of the Data Protection Authority.
- Certifying documents presented by parties and participants in proceedings as true copies of the original.
- Drafting responses to requests for public information disclosure.
- Creating drafts of procedural documents during administrative court proceedings.
- Preparing correspondence addressed to authorized bodies, courts, and other entities in cooperation regarding data protection regulations.
- Drafting and signing letters addressed to parties and participants of proceedings, except for decisions and letters during court proceedings.
- Archiving completed cases.
Qualifications
- Completed master's degree, preferably in law.
- At least one year of documented professional experience.
- Good knowledge of legal regulations concerning data protection.
- Familiarity with administrative procedures.
- Excellent organizational skills, strong communication, accuracy, and punctuality.
- Proficiency in computer use within the Windows environment.
- Candidates born before August 1, 1972, will need to submit a lustration declaration confirming they did not work or collaborate with state security organs between July 22, 1944, and July 31, 1990. This requirement does not apply to those born on or after August 1, 1972.
