Job Details

• Job Title: Sonographer

• Immediate joining required
• Work Shift: Night duty
• Licensing: Must hold SHA Assessment or transferable MOH evaluation/DHA eligibility with the Sonographer title

Qualifications and Experience

• B.Sc. in Medical Imaging Technology and/or Master's in Medical Diagnostic Ultrasound
• Minimum 5 years post-qualification experience in hospital or clinical settings
• Relevant training and certification as a Sonographer

Responsibilities

• Conduct ultrasound exams, capturing quality images to aid in diagnosis and treatment
• Ensure adequate inventory of materials and equipment necessary for tasks
• Apply knowledge of anatomy and pathology in imaging protocols and coordinate with radiologists for additional tests
• Use radiology equipment safely and effectively
• Promptly report any incidents or equipment malfunctions
• Operate sophisticated radiological software for image reconstruction, quantification, and dynamic imaging
• Support physicians during invasive procedures and document findings compliant with international healthcare standards
• Perform medical tasks including oxygen administration, vital sign monitoring, and emergency care
• Carry out specialized radiography procedures as needed
• Review ultrasound images for quality, relevance, and completeness and provide guidance to staff
