Role Overview

Rheinmetall Barzan Advanced Technologies QSTP-LLC is looking for a seasoned Solutions Architect to design, connect, and deliver high-stakes solutions in defense technology, robotics, and autonomous systems. This position focuses on mission-critical platforms for unmanned ground, aerial, and surface systems.

Key Responsibilities

Create the overall architecture and translate mission needs into clear technical requirements for autonomous systems.
Bring together sensors, communications infrastructure, navigation components, autonomy controllers, and C2/C4ISR capabilities.
Contribute to the development of remote-control, semi-autonomous, and fully autonomous functions.
Oversee integration work, testing, verification, and on-site deployment activities.
Develop technical documentation, interface definitions, and integration roadmaps.
Work closely with customers, vendors, and cross-functional engineering teams.

Requirements

A bachelor’s degree in electrical/electronics, computer/software, mechanical, aerospace engineering, or a closely related discipline.
At least 8 years of experience in defense technology, robotics, autonomous systems, or unmanned platforms.
Practical exposure to UGV, UAV, and USV systems, along with autonomous navigation and systems integration.
Solid knowledge of C2/C4ISR environments, communications networks, and mission payload integration.
Ability to translate operational needs into workable technical solutions.
A valid driver’s license is required.

Preferred Qualifications

A master’s degree or PhD in a relevant area is an advantage.
CSEP certification or an equivalent credential is preferred.
