Role Overview

Rheinmetall Barzan Advanced Technologies QSTP-LLC is looking for a seasoned Solutions Architect to design, connect, and deliver high-stakes solutions in defense technology, robotics, and autonomous systems. This position focuses on mission-critical platforms for unmanned ground, aerial, and surface systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create the overall architecture and translate mission needs into clear technical requirements for autonomous systems.
  • Bring together sensors, communications infrastructure, navigation components, autonomy controllers, and C2/C4ISR capabilities.
  • Contribute to the development of remote-control, semi-autonomous, and fully autonomous functions.
  • Oversee integration work, testing, verification, and on-site deployment activities.
  • Develop technical documentation, interface definitions, and integration roadmaps.
  • Work closely with customers, vendors, and cross-functional engineering teams.

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree in electrical/electronics, computer/software, mechanical, aerospace engineering, or a closely related discipline.
  • At least 8 years of experience in defense technology, robotics, autonomous systems, or unmanned platforms.
  • Practical exposure to UGV, UAV, and USV systems, along with autonomous navigation and systems integration.
  • Solid knowledge of C2/C4ISR environments, communications networks, and mission payload integration.
  • Ability to translate operational needs into workable technical solutions.
  • A valid driver’s license is required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • A master’s degree or PhD in a relevant area is an advantage.
  • CSEP certification or an equivalent credential is preferred.
