About the Role

Sequantix seeks an accomplished Solution Architect for a significant enterprise initiative. This contract role, initially for 6 months with potential extension as a contract-to-hire, requires an expert in enterprise architecture, Python coding, microservices design, API integrations, cloud systems, and contemporary design frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

Architect comprehensive enterprise-grade solutions aligning with strategic business and technical requirements.
Define and establish application, integration, data, security, and infrastructure architectures.
Design highly scalable microservices, RESTful APIs, API gateways, and event-driven systems.
Lead architectural deliberations and guide technical directions throughout the project life cycle.
Work closely with business stakeholders, product owners, architects, and developers to translate functional needs into effective technical designs.
Champion cloud adoption efforts, DevOps practices, CI/CD pipeline development, automation, and modernization.
Ensure all solutions adhere to stringent standards for scalability, performance, security, availability, and dependability.
Evaluate technical designs and offer architectural consulting and oversight to development teams.
Identify and analyze technical risks and dependencies, recommending appropriate mitigation approaches.
Engage in architecture governance, design assessments, and decision-making forums.

Required Qualifications and Experience

Minimum 8 years of hands-on Python development expertise.
Proven experience in crafting enterprise solutions and contemporary architectural patterns.
At least 5 years of domain expertise in insurance, membership management, or payment industries.
Comprehensive knowledge of microservices, REST APIs, API gateways, and event-driven architectures.
Minimum 1 year of practical experience with Google Cloud Platform and over 3 years on cloud platforms in general.
Proficiency with containerization technologies including Docker and Kubernetes.
Solid understanding of CI/CD tools, DevOps methodologies, and Infrastructure as Code concepts.
Experience with both relational and NoSQL database systems.
Familiarity with messaging systems such as Apache Kafka, RabbitMQ, or Azure Service Bus.
Understanding of security protocols like OAuth 2.0, JWT, and SAML.
Experience working within Agile or Scrum-driven teams and processes.

Desirable Skills

Knowledge of AI/ML platforms.
Experience with Data Lake, Data Warehouse, and analytics technologies.
Exposure to Azure cloud services.
Experience with Databricks, Snowflake, and Microsoft Fabric.
Certifications including TOGAF, Azure Solutions Architect, and AWS Solutions Architect are advantageous.

Additional Information

This position offers remote work flexibility from anywhere in India. It is a contract opportunity with an initial six-month period and potential transition to contract-to-hire thereafter.
