Role Overview
This role invites software test engineers to join Cloudscape's expanding team of 17 members and growing. The team environment is engaging, friendly, and supportive, emphasizing a positive workplace culture. Engineers will contribute to a complex, large-scale web application integrating extensive geospatial data, drone imagery, 3D modeling, real-time data feeds, and detailed project cost and production data.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with developers to identify and quantify software defects.
- Partner with the product team to craft comprehensive test scenarios.
- Perform manual execution of test plans and test cases.
- Design and maintain regression tests and related procedures.
- Explore and acquire new technological skills as required to support quality assurance objectives.
- Develop expertise in the product and its applications.
- Engage in a flexible and trust-based working environment.
- Witness direct impact of your work on customer satisfaction and project success.
- Contribute meaningfully to projects delivering benefits to users and the environment.
Technical Environment

Candidate Profile
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Business Computing.
- Experience or background in Data Science is highly advantageous.
- Demonstrated skill in manual software testing and constructing regression testing frameworks within complex technical settings.
Additional Information
This is a permanent full-time role requiring a 40-hour work week (Monday to Friday) based anywhere within New Zealand. Applicants must hold New Zealand residency or a valid work visa and currently reside in New Zealand.
