Role Overview
The Social Media and Marketing Assistant will play a key role in supporting marketing initiatives. This includes aiding in social media content creation, planning, and community engagement as well as backing partnership efforts. The position demands excellent organizational abilities, keen attention to detail, a creative flair, and the capability to juggle various tasks within a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in formulating and executing organic and paid social media strategies across platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn.
- Oversee the daily content posting schedule ensuring relevance, brand consistency, and alignment with launches, campaigns, and events.
- Collaborate with the team to develop and curate high-quality, platform-optimized visuals including lifestyle images, product photos, video reels, motion graphics, and branded materials.
- Partner with the Brand Copy Editor to create appealing captions and copy that reflect strong design orientation.
- Work with the Marketing Manager and external marketing teams to manage paid social campaigns, including targeting, creative tests, and optimization efforts.
- Create or customize assets suitable for performance-based advertising formats like Stories, video ads, and carousels.
- Contribute to tracking and reporting paid campaign performance by monitoring key indicators such as CTR, conversion rates, and ROAS with the Ecommerce and Marketing Manager.
- Engage actively with the online community by responding promptly and consistently in the brand’s voice alongside the Brand Copy Editor.
- Foster relationships with followers, content creators, influencers, and brand supporters in collaboration with the PR Manager and aid in managing press requests.
- Spot and interact with user-generated content and brand-aligned communities to support engagement.
- Monitor both organic and paid content performance to refine posting tactics, content variety, and outreach strategies.
- Help compile weekly insights and monthly analytics reports summarizing key metrics, successes, suggestions, and action plans.
- Carry out routine administrative tasks for the marketing department, including content library maintenance and asset organization.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Prior experience in social media or marketing roles, with internships in fashion, beauty, or luxury lifestyle sectors preferred.
- Demonstrated success in growing and engaging audiences across platforms like Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and LinkedIn.
- Portfolio or samples of social media content creation from professional, freelance, or personal projects desirable.
- Proficient use of design and editing software such as Adobe Creative Suite and Canva.
- Experience handling Meta Ads Manager and social media analytics platforms such as Hootsuite or Sprout.
- Highly organized with an aptitude for managing a dynamic social calendar and shifting product launch dates.
- Refined aesthetic sense and an understanding of the tone, voice, and audience of luxury brands.
- Effective communicator, proactive mindset, and eagerness to learn within a fast-moving marketing team.
