Site Manager / Foreman

About the Role

Kwik RC Frames is a major contractor specialising in precast and concrete frame works, with most of its activity centred around Dublin. The company is hiring multiple people for this position and offers good scope to grow within the business.

What You’ll Do

• Lead the site on a daily basis, manage the workforce, and keep the frame progressing to schedule.
• Assign, organise, and oversee directly employed staff and subcontractors so the right labour and equipment are in place each day.
• Work with the Site Engineer and Project Manager to plan the sequence of activities, including pour cycles, crane operations, deliveries, and setting-out.
• Hold daily briefings and toolbox talks so everyone understands the task, the method, and the hazards involved.
• Promote strong health, safety, and environmental practices, and ensure RAMS, permits, and site rules are followed consistently.
• Check workmanship and quality standards, including line, level, and finish, and resolve issues early to prevent rework.
• Coordinate deliveries, plant, materials, and lifting activity to maintain safe and steady progress of the frame.
• Communicate with the Main Contractor, subcontractors, and other site contacts to resolve problems promptly and professionally.
• Keep accurate daily records such as diaries, labour returns, plant returns, delivery dockets, and progress updates against the programme.
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping, welfare, and overall site presentation.

What We’re Looking For

Applicants should have prior experience as a Site Manager or Foreman on RC or precast concrete frame projects. You’ll need a solid understanding of concrete frame construction, including setting-out, formwork, steel fixing, pouring, and precast erection. The role also calls for the ability to read construction drawings and programme information, plus a strong grasp of health and safety rules, RAMS, and permit procedures. Leadership, planning, and communication skills are essential, along with a practical, quality-led approach focused on getting things right the first time.

Additional Information

Safe Pass and Manual Handling certification must be current. SLG / SSG (Site/Safety Supervisor) and First Aid are desirable advantages. The employer also notes that there are several vacancies and that candidates can expect strong opportunities for progression and career development.
