Site Engineer – Solar

Position Overview

Classic Signages Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a qualified Site Engineer specializing in solar energy projects to oversee and ensure smooth execution at project sites in Jaipur, Rajasthan. This role focuses on managing site activities, documentation, coordination with contractors and clients, and ensuring quality and safety standards throughout the project lifecycle.

Primary Responsibilities

• Measure site locations precisely and prepare detailed reports of these measurements in the specified format.
• Coordinate closely with team members to verify measurements before exiting each site.
• Maintain consistent on-site presence throughout ongoing project execution.
• Check materials against the Bill of Materials (BOM) immediately and report shortages or discrepancies to supervisors promptly.
• Submit daily reports detailing work performed on site.
• Keep comprehensive site documentation including attendance, permits, and access passes up to date.
• Capture progress photographs at the start and completion stages of work.
• Retrieve materials or documents from courier services as needed.
• Notify supervisors at least three days prior to project completion to facilitate proper site handover.
• Address queries from officers regarding the completed work professionally and promptly.
• Organize and manage local labor resources for related civil work prior to solar panel setup.
• Collaborate with DISCOM and clients to manage the net metering approval process.
• Liaise with local governmental authorities to obtain necessary permissions and ensure smooth coordination.
• Take responsibility for electrical tasks including wiring, earthing, and installation of solar energy systems.
• Lead and supervise a team of up to 10 members to ensure timely and efficient project delivery.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Possess a B.Tech degree in Electrical Engineering or Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
• Demonstrate 1 to 5 years of professional experience in related roles.
• Exhibit strong analytical thinking, effective communication, and robust problem-solving capabilities.
• Be willing to travel and work at sites across India, accommodating stays ranging from one to sixty days.
• Comfortable with bus and train travel for work assignments.
• Exhibit proficiency in accurate measurement and calculations.
• Be skilled in interpreting and understanding engineering drawings.
• Show decisiveness, proactivity, responsibility, and a results-driven mindset.
• Maintain high standards of communication with clients, contractors, and stakeholders.
