Site Civil Engineer

Job Overview

The Site Civil Engineer will be instrumental in the planning, designing, and execution of residential real estate projects. This role involves supervising on-site civil engineering efforts to ensure adherence to approved blueprints, regulatory compliance, and coordination with all involved parties to facilitate successful completion of projects from land development through building construction.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure all site activities conform to approved civil plans, applicable building codes, environmental standards, and project requirements.
• Perform routine inspections on site and address technical challenges pertaining to earthworks, utilities installation, drainage systems, and foundation work.
• Collaborate closely with contractors, subcontractors, surveyors, and municipal officials to keep the project on schedule and quality standards met.
• Report site progress, identify potential risks, and propose solutions to project managers and senior development teams.
• Maintain thorough documentation including daily and weekly reports, site logs, redlined drawings, and as-built records.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• A bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a closely related discipline.
• Between one to five years of experience in civil or site engineering roles, ideally in residential land development or construction projects.
• Active membership in the Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE).
