Role Overview

This full-time position for a Site Civil Engineer is stationed on-site in Al Rayyan, Qatar. The engineer will supervise on-site civil construction activities, guarantee the accurate implementation of designs, and ensure compliance with engineering standards and local laws. Daily tasks include coordination with project managers, contractors, and multidisciplinary engineers, reviewing technical drawings and project specifications, and problem-solving construction-related technical challenges. Responsibilities also encompass planning and scheduling civil operations, inspecting site conditions, supporting stormwater and drainage infrastructure, and compiling progress documentation and reports. The position demands a strong emphasis on safety, quality assurance, and resource optimization throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Comprehensive knowledge of Civil Engineering principles, particularly design and practical site engineering.
• Experience as a Civil Engineer within construction or infrastructure projects, ideally with site-based exposure.
• Competence in planning, coordinating, and managing civil work schedules and resources effectively.
• Expertise in Stormwater Management and drainage system design and implementation.
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field; professional certification or registration beneficial.
• Awareness of Qatar or Gulf region engineering codes, standards, and regulatory frameworks.
• Proficiency in civil engineering design software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or equivalent tools.
• Strong analytical, detail-oriented problem-solving skills ensuring adherence to quality standards.
• Effective communication skills, both oral and written, with ability to collaborate in a diverse team environment.
