Role Overview

We are searching for a skilled full-time Sign Writer to join our enthusiastic team. This role involves preparing and installing high-end wraps on fleet vehicles, trucks, and machinery, as well as the fabrication and installation of commercial signage. The position includes both workshop and onsite work, requiring travel in company vehicles.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute vehicle and fleet wrap installations, including graphic preparation and precision application.
  • Prepare signage materials, vinyl, and graphics utilizing vinyl cutting software, operating plotters, as well as performing weeding, laminating, and applicating tasks.
  • Install commercial signage such as sign panels, acrylic lettering, printed wallpapers, and frosting.
  • Adhere strictly to proofs for all preparation and installation tasks.
  • Keep detailed records of all installations, including photographic documentation and measurements.
  • Perform general housekeeping duties within the workshop.
  • Opportunity to acquire skills in window tinting.

Candidate Profile and Requirements

  • Minimum of three years experience in signwriting or vehicle wrapping is essential.
  • Proven ability to confidently wrap compound curves and finish edges to a high standard.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
  • Possession of a valid manual vehicle driver’s license.
  • Competence in computer usage, including work management software.
  • Effective planning and scheduling skills for road-based tasks.
  • Strong communication skills for effective teamwork and instruction following.

Compensation and Benefits

Hourly wage ranges from $35 to $45, dependent on experience, with superannuation provided.

Employees will have access to a company vehicle for onsite assignments. Additionally, a take-home manual van may be offered; if chosen, an adjustment to the hourly wage will apply. Flexibility is offered for those preferring to commute in their own car.
