Showroom Manager

Overview

The Showroom Manager is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the jewellery showroom in Madurai. This includes overseeing sales, managing inventory, supervising employees, and maintaining all showroom infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise retail staff to ensure excellent customer service and handle escalated customer issues when necessary.
• Ensure adherence to company procedures, processes, and systems by all staff members.
• Plan and implement store displays, layouts, and customer flow to maximize sales, improve customer satisfaction, and maintain the showroom's image.
• Evaluate and manage staff performance in sales and customer service to optimize revenue and satisfaction.
• Oversee maintenance and proper functioning of all showroom facilities, equipment, fixtures, and stock.
• Conduct staff performance reviews and recommend appropriate measures.
• Hold daily team briefings to coordinate activities.
• Attend monthly or ad-hoc meetings at the corporate office as required by senior management.
• Approve staff leave after review by section in-charges.
• Maintain records such as movement registers and prepare daily reports for managers and top management.
• Manage supervisors and section heads to ensure compliance with shop rules, attendance, and customer service standards.
• Introduce innovative approaches to enhance service quality and customer satisfaction.
• Ensure floor supervisors follow up on customer feedback and implement necessary improvements.
• Closely monitor item handling at the start and end of each day and ensure adequate staffing for smooth inventory flow.
• Report staffing needs to the HR department and ensure staff compliance with HR policies related to uniforms and punctuality.
• Create an overall excellent shopping experience within the showroom.
