About the Role

Wide Eyed Studio is seeking an experienced Senior Video Editor to join their team in Secunderabad on a full-time basis. The ideal candidate will excel in modern social media storytelling, transforming raw footage into engaging videos tailored for platforms such as Instagram, YouTube, and LinkedIn. A strong grasp of pacing, storytelling, and up-to-date digital content trends is essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit both short and long-form videos specifically crafted for various social media outlets.
• Develop captivating narratives from raw clips that maintain viewer interest through effective pacing.
• Enhance videos by integrating graphics, subtitles, smooth transitions, and sound design elements.
• Work collaboratively with strategists and content creators to bring content concepts to fruition.
• Ensure all video output aligns with brand standards and platform guidelines.
• Handle multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to strict deadlines.
• Keep abreast of the latest editing methods, social media formats, and trending content styles.

Required Qualifications

• At least 2 to 3 years of professional experience in video editing.
• Strong proficiency with Adobe Premiere Pro and fundamental skills in After Effects.
• In-depth understanding of video specifications and trends across social media platforms.
• Excellent storytelling abilities, including pacing and visual design.
• Capable of thriving in a fast-paced production environment.
• Keen attention to detail and openness to constructive feedback.

Preferred Additional Skills

• Hands-on experience editing social media formats like Reels and Shorts, especially viral content styles.
• Basic competency in motion graphics.
• Familiarity with sound design and choosing appropriate music tracks.
