Key Responsibilities

• Act as a trusted technical advisor to prospects and clients in ANZ, helping them understand and adopt GitLab’s AI-powered DevSecOps platform throughout their software development lifecycle.
• Lead technical evaluations, including proofs of value and workshops, ensuring solutions align with both technical needs and business objectives.
• Partner with Account Executives and sales teams to strategize around new customer acquisition and account growth.
• Develop and nurture relationships with both technical and business stakeholders to guide digital transformation and foster GitLab advocacy.
• Provide guidance on modern development processes, continuous integration and deployment, security, and cloud operations.
• Communicate customer feedback, use cases, and competitive insights to Product Management and other internal teams, influencing product improvements.
• Maintain and grow expertise in GitLab, DevSecOps methodologies, AI integration, and cloud technologies, creating best practices and technical assets.
• Commit to ongoing personal and team development through learning, mentoring, and knowledge-sharing activities.

Required Experience and Skills

• Proven experience in technical pre-sales, consulting, or similar roles involving solution architecture and customer engagement.
• Strong understanding of the complete software development lifecycle with expertise in DevSecOps best practices and CI/CD pipelines.
• Hands-on experience using GitLab or comparable platforms for source control, CI/CD, and collaboration, with the ability to tailor platform capabilities to client needs.
• Knowledgeable in cloud computing concepts, able to discuss deployment, security, and operational considerations with technical teams.
• Capability to lead technical evaluations, workshops, and contribute to tender processes and audits.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills adaptable for technical teams and senior business leaders.
• Proven ability to build trusted advisor relationships, empathize with customers, and advocate their needs internally.
• A keen desire for continuous learning and professional growth, including expanding expertise in GitLab and related technologies.
