Role Overview
The Senior Sales Compensation Analyst (P3) will manage the global sales compensation administration processes, focusing mainly on the end-to-end setup and maintenance of eligible employees in Xactly Incent. This role involves overseeing commission calculations, resolving sales team inquiries, performing detailed audits, and handling regional questions. The analyst will work collaboratively with Sales Operations, Finance, HR, and Legal teams to ensure accuracy in participant setups, plan mechanics, and monthly commission cycles. This position requires a proactive, independent thinker and team player dedicated to addressing operational challenges, improving processes, and consistently meeting strict deadlines. Reporting will be to the Manager of Sales Compensation.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the monthly configuration and administration of Xactly Incent components such as Users, Positions, Hierarchies, Relationships, Quotas, and Guarantees.
- Manage the sales compensation lifecycle, including reviewing setups, auditing credits and commissions, and promptly addressing inquiries via ServiceNow.
- Troubleshoot setup challenges by coordinating with the Administration team.
- Partner with Systems to automate setup processes through Workday integration while managing manual interventions as needed.
- Provide training to Sales teams on Xactly platforms, sales plans, and compensation programs.
- Conduct thorough User Acceptance Testing for fiscal year plan rollovers and mid-year plan adjustments to maintain system accuracy.
- Analyze data systems and order processes to develop data models, generate reports, and identify trends or discrepancies.
- Adopt and implement technical tools and AI solutions to optimize workflows, automate manual tasks, and enhance team efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with SOX and audit standards by maintaining internal controls and business workflows.
- Collaborate with Sales Plan Design and Sales Leadership to support sales plan launches, terms and conditions, and localized coaching on compensation outcomes.
Work Structure
This position operates on a hybrid model requiring a minimum of two days per week onsite at the Dublin office.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in sales compensation administration and incentive tracking systems.
Preferred Experience and Skills
- Proficiency with Xactly or comparable Sales Performance Management software.
- Background in managing sales incentive plans within technology, SaaS, or AI industries.
- Strong analytical skills and business understanding.
- Competent with Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace.
- Effective communication, organizational, documentation, and presentation abilities.
