Senior Project Manager

About the Role

Our client based in Dublin is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager for a permanent position to lead complex project deliveries within financial services or consulting environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and drive the end-to-end execution of multifaceted projects.
• Work closely with key stakeholders to establish project requirements, scope, and expected results.
• Contribute to defining the future operating model by leveraging expertise in business and solution architecture.
• Maintain transparent and ongoing communication with all project participants, regularly updating status and resolving issues quickly.
• Identify, evaluate, and prioritize both functional and non-functional requirements from business and technical stakeholders.
• Coordinate and manage third-party technology vendors and lead system selection activities.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field.
• At least five years’ project management experience within financial services or a top consulting firm, demonstrating delivery-focused leadership.
• Proven capabilities in project management, delivery, team leadership, and change management; Agile certifications such as Scrum or IPMA are advantageous.
• Fluent English communication skills are essential; German language skills are beneficial.
• Ability to effectively mediate between business and technical stakeholders on complex issues.
• Approach tasks with pragmatism and a proactive attitude to achieve results.
