Job Responsibilities

• Oversee procurement operations and commercial management of procurement initiatives, including managing progress, demand, commercial negotiations, pricing, contracts, and resolving issues during execution.
• Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with business growth objectives, including supplier development, management, performance review, and enhancement.
• Analyze market trends and shifts to inform procurement decisions effectively.
• Identify and optimize processes, fostering cross-team collaboration to resolve challenges efficiently.

Candidate Requirements

• Strong alignment with Tencent's corporate values, demonstrating integrity, responsibility, excellent interpersonal and cross-team communication skills.
• Bachelor's degree or higher with over 5 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management across sectors such as IT, HR, BPO, marketing, or software; ideally, at least 2 years in local procurement roles.
• Proven ability to independently lead procurement projects with deep procurement knowledge; excellent negotiation skills; detail-oriented, resilient, passionate, responsible with the ability to handle high-pressure situations.
• Exceptional organizational, logical thinking, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
• Well-developed learning abilities, effective communication, problem analysis, and resolution skills; capable of performing under stress.
• Fluency in written and spoken English is essential; proficiency in Mandarin is required as approximately 80% of supplier negotiations and regional coordination involve Mandarin-speaking stakeholders.
