Senior Process Engineer

Job Overview

We are seeking a Senior Process Engineer to join our team at Heraeus Electronics in Singapore. The role involves troubleshooting day-to-day production lines, monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs), and identifying opportunities for process improvement within a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide daily troubleshooting support and sustainment for production lines.
• Closely monitor and control KPIs to ensure performance targets are met.
• Participate in root cause analysis (RCA), failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA), and customer complaint investigations.
• Analyze process data to uncover areas for operational enhancement.
• Drive process optimization and improvements through Engineering Change Notice (ECN) projects.
• Maintain and review all process documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Lead Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma initiatives aimed at waste reduction.
• Verify and confirm correct bill of materials (BOM) and routing setup for new or existing materials in SAP.
• Support customer and certification audits as needed.
• Act as internal auditor for certification requirements when necessary.
• Ensure seamless transition to mass manufacturing during Product Development Process (PDP) and Commercial Development (CD) projects.
• Collaborate with New Product Introduction (NPI) teams on new process and equipment development projects.
• Engage in procurement activities related to second sourcing or end-of-life (EOL) scenarios.
• Lead individual projects aimed at reducing Cost of Goods Sold (COGS).

Candidate Requirements

• Possess a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Chemical Engineering, Electrical and Electronics, Materials Science, or related fields.
• Have at least six years of relevant experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Lean Six Sigma knowledge and certifications such as Green Belt or Black Belt are highly advantageous.
• Basic understanding of Operational Health and Safety (OHS) and Environmental Management Systems (EMS).
• Familiarity with SAP, particularly for BOM creation, routing, and new material number setup, is a plus.
