Senior Game QA

About the Role

Fueled by a passion to bring joy and unleash creativity in gaming, our mission is to build a game studio in Singapore focused on creating casual mobile games that provide deeply engaging and fun experiences for players. We are seeking a seasoned Senior Game QA professional who loves casual puzzle games and is committed to delivering outstanding player experiences. You will be a vital part of our team, responsible for ensuring game quality, establishing robust QA practices, and collaborating closely with Product, Design, Art, and Engineering teams to meet high standards for every feature and release.

Key Responsibilities

• Take full ownership of the game's overall quality, ensuring all features, systems, levels, and releases provide a polished and enjoyable player experience.
• Proactively manage quality throughout development by spotting risks early and raising potential issues before players encounter them.
• Develop and continuously enhance QA procedures, testing standards, documentation, and release checklists as the game evolves.
• Thoroughly test game features, systems, LiveOps events, and levels on both iOS and Android platforms for functionality, stability, performance, and player experience.
• Verify level logic, progression, difficulty, win/lose conditions, and gameplay balance, while uncovering edge cases and player pain points.
• Maintain consistent gameplay quality across all content by identifying design inconsistencies and usability problems.
• Collaborate closely with Product Managers to understand feature objectives, challenge assumptions, and confirm features deliver intended player experiences.
• Work with Engineers to prioritize issues, validate fixes, and assess readiness for releases.
• Partner with the Art team to detect visual, UI, and presentation issues that may affect gameplay experience.
• Create clear, precise, and actionable bug reports, including reproduction steps, expected vs actual outcomes, severity, and supporting evidence.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive test cases, regression suites, and QA documentation.
• Continuously improve testing efficiency, coverage, and overall product quality via enhanced processes and industry best practices.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in any field.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in Game Quality Assurance with live mobile games.
• Proven track record of managing QA processes covering feature development, LiveOps, and game releases.
• Strong knowledge of QA methods including exploratory testing, regression testing, and release management.
• Excellent attention to detail with the ability to detect subtle gameplay issues, edge cases, and quality risks.
• Good analytical skills combined with a player-first perspective and willingness to challenge assumptions for improving quality.
• Outstanding communication skills and aptitude for collaborating effectively with Product, Art, and Engineering teams.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• A true passion for casual puzzle games and deep understanding of what makes them engaging for players.
