Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Senior IBM App Connect Enterprise (ACE) Developer with over 10 years of background in enterprise application integration. This position entails designing, creating, deploying, and maintaining robust middleware and API solutions that support organizational digital transformation efforts.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and support integration solutions using IBM App Connect Enterprise (ACE) and IBM MQ technologies.
- Create and maintain message flows, message models, and reusable components for integration purposes.
- Build, utilize, and manage RESTful APIs and SOAP web services effectively.
- Architect integration strategies for applications, cloud platforms, databases, and external systems.
- Perform complex data transformations involving formats like XML, JSON, DFDL, XMLNSC, CSV, MRM, and ISO8583.
- Write integration logic using ESQL incorporating error handling, exceptions, and message routing.
- Engage in solution design conversations and recommend scalable, maintainable integration architectures.
- Deploy integration applications across various environments: Development, Quality Assurance, User Acceptance Testing, and Production.
- Monitor integration services, diagnose production issues, and enhance application performance.
- Collaborate closely with business analysts, architects, QA teams, and application stakeholders to deliver integration solutions.
- Conduct unit and integration testing along with supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Adhere to continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) practices using tools like Git and Jenkins.
- Prepare and update technical documentation, interface definitions, and deployment manuals.
- Ensure all development complies with organization security guidelines, coding best practices, and integration standards.
- Provide production support including incident management and root cause analysis.
