About the Role and Company
Quantiphi Analytics Solutions is a pioneering company specializing in Data Science and Machine Learning, dedicated to helping organizations realize measurable business outcomes through advanced AI technologies. As a Senior Business System Analyst, you will be positioned in Mumbai or Bangalore, applying your deep expertise primarily in the Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance (BFSI) sector while exploring opportunities across other industries.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive documentation detailing business requirements and functional specifications aligned with organizational objectives and regulatory compliance.
- Identify operational inefficiencies within BFSI projects and propose actionable enhancements.
- Utilize diverse data analysis and visualization tools, such as Power BI, Excel, and Snowflake, to interpret and present data insights effectively.
- Work collaboratively with data engineers and architects to conceptualize data models ensuring quality and integrity of data.
- Engage in data mapping activities to analyze data flow and interrelationships across systems.
- Create and update data dictionaries and metadata records to maintain data governance standards.
- Oversee user acceptance testing (UAT) to validate project deliverables against business requirements.
Candidate Profile and Skills
- Possesses over 4 years of experience in consulting or business analysis, particularly focused on data-centric projects.
- Proficient in Microsoft and Google Suites with advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint.
- Experienced with project management tools such as JIRA and Microsoft Visio for requirement management and documentation.
- Strong familiarity with Agile methodologies, including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and story estimation.
- Deep understanding of BFSI industry processes and regulatory frameworks both local and international.
- Skilled in SQL for data querying and analysis.
- Knowledgeable in data modeling methods like relational and dimensional models.
- Solid grasp of data quality standards and best practices.
- Leadership capabilities marked by strong work ethic, intellectual curiosity, and excellence in client relations.
- Understanding of data warehousing concepts and data lakes.
- Familiarity with insurance industry domain.

Applicants must hold a B.Tech, B.E., B.Sc., or B.C.A. degree in any discipline.
