Security Advisor

Job Overview

The Security Advisor will enhance and uphold Concern Worldwide's safety and security protocols, ensuring alignment with best practices and adequate response to the threat levels faced by our country programmes. The role specifically supports three out of five regional country programmes.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with country programme teams, especially Security Focal Points (SFP) and Security Focal Groups (SFG), to strengthen contextual risk analysis and maintain active situational monitoring in environments where risks evolve quickly.
• Ensure that security risk management processes, documentation, and incident reporting employed by country teams remain aligned with the security profiles of their regions.
• Assist country teams and regional desks with the development and implementation of preparation and response strategies focused on protecting staff from emergencies like fires and natural disasters such as extreme wind events, earthquakes, floods, and volcanic activity.
