About the Role

NTU International is assembling a roster of qualified short-term Non-Key Experts to support a project focused on communication outreach and engagement regarding EU policies in North Africa, the Middle East, and the Gulf region over 36 months. The Junior Non-Key Expert position involves providing strategic, technical, and logistical communication assistance to DG MENA to enhance visibility and impact of EU initiatives across the region.

Key Responsibilities

• Create compelling communication content for websites, newsletters, articles, press releases, and social media channels.
• Compose scripts for various audio-visual products including videos, podcasts, and interviews.
• Develop campaign messaging and narrative content tailored to diverse audiences and platforms.
• Review and refine communication materials to maintain clarity, consistency, and precision.
• Work collaboratively with communication specialists, graphic designers, and audio-visual teams to deliver integrated outputs.
• Modify content for digital use while adhering to EU editorial and communication standards.
• Assist in drafting speeches, briefing documents, key messages, and promotional content.
• Participate in the creation of communication campaigns and outreach efforts.

Qualifications and Experience

• A degree or equivalent qualification in journalism, communication, or languages.
• Strong command of written English is essential.
• Knowledge of French and/or Arabic is considered advantageous.

Professional Experience

• At least two years of general experience in copywriting or journalistic writing.
• Minimum one year of specific experience in producing communication content such as articles, scripts, and social media posts.
