Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Scheduler/Pre-Registrar who values purpose and possesses unique abilities to join our team. This role involves managing inbound communications and coordinating patient appointments for outpatient tests. The Scheduler/Pre-Registrar will also handle pre-registration procedures, ensuring that all appointments have an authorized provider order.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive phone and fax requests to schedule patient outpatient testing appointments.
• Complete pre-registration processes for patients who have scheduled appointments.
• Verify and obtain valid provider orders prior to patient procedures.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Preferred: At least one year of experience in patient scheduling or patient access roles.
• Familiarity with healthcare office environments, medical terminology, and CPT/ICD-9 coding is advantageous.
• Demonstrated ability to multitask effectively.
• Minimum educational requirement: High School Diploma or GED.
• Physical capability to perform sedentary work with prolonged sitting and occasional lifting up to 10 pounds.

This is a remote position; however, candidates must reside in Colorado.
