Role Overview
The Sales Strategy & Operations Analyst plays a critical role within Wrike's Sales Strategy & Operations team by facilitating effective go-to-market execution through rigorous data analysis, process discipline, and operational insights. This position supports sales planning and activity via reliable reporting, maintaining data quality, aiding forecasting, and pipeline analysis, while collaborating extensively with stakeholders to enhance sales effectiveness and scalability.
Key Responsibilities
- Create, update, and optimize regular dashboards, reports, and KPI visualizations to help sales leaders track pipeline, bookings, sales activity, and performance trends.
- Prepare reports, validate data, and generate insights to support weekly, monthly, and quarterly leadership business reviews.
- Assist in sales forecasting, pipeline scrutiny, and performance monitoring to enable a clear understanding of risks, opportunities, and outcomes.
- Ensure data integrity within the CRM by identifying discrepancies, aiding clean-up initiatives, and enhancing reporting logic, field usage, and governance standards.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Finance, Marketing, Customer Success, and Business Systems teams to resolve operational queries and contribute to shared initiatives.
- Support territory planning, account evaluation, sales productivity analysis, and execute ad hoc analytics requests as assigned.
- Document workflows, reporting definitions, and operational processes to foster consistency, scalability, and continuous refinement.
Qualifications
- 2 to 3 years of relevant experience in Sales Operations, Revenue Operations, Strategy & Operations, Business Operations, or similar analytical roles, preferably in SaaS or technology sectors.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Analytics, Mathematics or related disciplines, or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong competence in spreadsheet analysis and experience developing business reports and dashboards suited for operational and commercial teams.
- Familiarity with CRM systems, ideally Salesforce, including understanding of reporting structures, opportunity data, and data quality management.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to interpret complex data and deliver clear business recommendations.
- Impeccable attention to detail, organizational discipline, and capacity to handle multiple priorities systematically.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills enabling effective presentation of insights to stakeholders across functions.
- A proactive attitude towards learning new tools, processes, and business concepts with a growth mindset.
Preferred Attributes
- Experience supporting SaaS sales teams in pipeline reviews, forecasting, quarterly business reviews, territory analysis, or performance measurement.
- Knowledge of BI or data visualization tools and comfort working with structured datasets in operational contexts.
- Experience in process improvement, documenting workflows, or implementing system enhancements.
- Basic understanding of SQL or similar analytical tools.

This role works in close collaboration with Sales leadership and cross-functional teams including Finance, Marketing, Customer Success, and Business Systems to support planning, reporting, and execution efforts. Reporting typically is to a manager within Sales Strategy & Operations or Revenue Operations. Work Style and Tools
The position operates in a data-centric, cross-functional setting with routine business rhythms such as weekly, monthly, and quarterly reviews. Core tasks include structured reporting, ongoing operations cadences, ad hoc analyses, and process improvement initiatives to support scalable go-to-market strategies. Essential tools include Salesforce, spreadsheets, dashboard/BI platforms, and work management systems for task and project tracking.
Compensation and Benefits
- Annual base salary range $50,000 to $70,000 USD (excluding benefits, bonuses, and incentives)
