Sales Executive - Cameras and Accessories

Role Overview

Matrix Info Systems Pvt. Ltd. seeks a motivated Sales Executive to promote and sell cameras and associated accessories within the Chandigarh area. This position requires a professional with strong product expertise in photography equipment, excellent communication abilities, and a proven sales background in retail or B2B sectors related to electronics or photography products.

Key Responsibilities

• Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets for cameras and accessories by engaging actively with customers.
• Provide comprehensive product knowledge on various camera types and accessories to assist customers in making well-informed purchasing choices.
• Develop and nurture lasting relationships with individual buyers, retailers, studios, and corporate clients to foster repeat business.
• Identify and pursue new sales leads and business prospects; follow up diligently to convert inquiries into confirmed sales.
• Collaborate with inventory and warehouse teams ensuring product availability and timely dispatch of orders.
• Support customers post-purchase by guiding warranty registration, addressing service queries, and managing basic after-sales issues.
• Monitor competitors’ offerings, pricing strategies, and market trends to contribute strategic insights for sales planning.
• Maintain thorough records including daily and weekly sales reports, customer databases, and sales pipeline updates using CRM tools.
• Coordinate with vendors, distributors, and brand partners to manage stock levels, pricing, and promotional initiatives.

Candidate Requirements

• Demonstrated strong knowledge of DSLR, mirrorless, point-and-shoot cameras and relevant accessories such as lenses, tripods, memory cards, batteries, and bags.
• Outstanding communication, interpersonal, negotiation, and persuasive selling skills.
• Results-oriented mindset with a focus on achieving targets and prioritizing customer satisfaction.
• Basic proficiency in computer applications, including MS Excel, billing software, and CRM systems.
• Familiarity with the local Chandigarh and Tricity market environment.
• Preferred educational background in Computer Science or IT; however, graduates from other fields with suitable sales experience are welcome.
• Minimum three years of sales experience within camera, IT hardware, computer peripherals, or electronics industries is essential.
• Language skills in Hindi, English, and Punjabi are preferred.

• Work Mode: On-site office attendance required
• Work Schedule: Six days a week, from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM
