Overview
A confidential company located in Riyadh's 2nd Industrial City is seeking a Safety Supervisor to oversee and enforce occupational health and safety protocols on various work sites. The role is critical in ensuring adherence to local and international safety standards, particularly in high-risk sectors such as electricity and energy.
Primary Responsibilities
- Supervise daily work activities to confirm compliance with established safety standards and procedures.
- Carry out thorough safety inspections and audits of job sites, tools, and equipment to identify risks.
- Detect potential hazards and suggest corrective measures to avert incidents.
- Verify that all workers are equipped with the required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Engage in investigations of incidents or accidents, producing comprehensive reports.
- Conduct safety briefings, toolbox talks, and awareness sessions to promote safety culture.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to ensure enforcement of safety protocols.
- Keep detailed documentation on safety audits, permits, and training activities.
- Assist in planning and executing emergency response drills.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Saudi safety regulations (e.g., Civil Defense, Ministry of Human Resources) and oversee their implementation.
Qualifications and Experience
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety or Engineering fields.
- Preferred certifications include OSHA, NEBOSH, IOSH, and Kawadir certificate.
- At least 4 to 7 years of experience in safety supervision, ideally within the power or construction industries.
