Overview

Tulip Inn Al Daar Rawafid, a franchised hotel located in Madinah, Saudi Arabia, invites applications for an experienced Revenue Manager to lead the hotel's pricing, revenue optimization, inventory management, and distribution channels. This role collaborates with the General Manager and commercial teams to maximize room revenue and key performance metrics using data-driven decisions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and execute revenue management strategies focused on enhancing revenue, profitability, occupancy rates, average daily rate (ADR), and revenue per available room (RevPAR).
  • Develop pricing frameworks that adapt to demand fluctuations, booking trends, market conditions, competition, and business mix.
  • Track daily metrics including pickup, pace, occupancy, ADR, RevPAR, market demand, and other indicators critical to revenue performance.
  • Control room inventory allocations, pricing, restrictions, and availability across all sales channels.
  • Conduct frequent competitor and market analyses to uncover demand trends, pricing opportunities, and risk factors.
  • Generate precise short-term, medium-term, and long-term revenue forecasts leveraging historical data, current bookings, and market insights.
  • Lead periodic revenue meetings to present performance results, forecasts, pricing strategies, market intelligence, and recommended actions to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Analyze business segments, distribution channels, booking behavior, length of stay, lead times, cancellations, and other revenue-influencing factors to optimize revenue streams.
  • Enhance distribution channel mix, balancing direct bookings, online travel agencies, global distribution systems, wholesalers, corporate accounts, and partners.
  • Monitor channel-related costs and ensure financially viable distribution approaches.
  • Maintain accuracy of rates, inventory, restrictions, and content across property management system (PMS) and distribution platforms.
  • Effectively utilize revenue management software, PMS, channel managers, and business intelligence tools to guide revenue decisions.
  • Coordinate with Sales, Marketing, Reservations, Front Office, and Finance departments to align commercial tactics and boost revenue opportunities.
  • Assist in creating and assessing promotional offers, packages, campaigns based on demand insights.
  • Provide insights supporting negotiations with corporate clients, group bookings, wholesale partners, and other commercial discussions.
  • Participate in annual budgeting and regular forecast updates, backing projections with market and performance data.
  • Prepare and deliver regular reports and analyses on revenue metrics and commercial strategies to hotel leadership.
  • Ensure practices conform with brand and franchise standards.
  • Maintain effective partnerships with distribution and travel agency partners to enhance hotel visibility and conversion rates.
  • Stay updated on local market events, competitor activities, demand drivers, and hospitality trends affecting the region.
  • Train and support team members in revenue management concepts, tools, pricing tactics, and commercial insight.
  • Continuously improve revenue management processes, systems, and tools for efficiency and better commercial results.
  • Undertake additional revenue or commercial duties as assigned by management.
  • Comply with hotel policies on environment, health, safety, and security.
