About the Role

We are seeking motivated individuals to step into leadership roles as Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager (Second-in-Command) at our Petstock locations in Adelaide North, including Allenby Gardens and Modbury. As part of our passionate team, you'll drive world-class customer service and contribute significantly to the success of the Petstock Group.

Daily Responsibilities

• Lead by example, inspiring and guiding your team each day.
• Coach team members to enhance their expertise and professional growth.
• Ensure exceptional customer experiences by setting a high standard personally.
• Promote and embed a culture of safety within your team.
• Recruit, onboard, and train talented new employees.
• Manage inventory diligently, maintaining accuracy and stock control procedures.
• Stay informed about pet care, products, and services through continuous learning.
• Foster a positive, enjoyable workplace culture where team members feel valued.
• Support local marketing initiatives and sponsorships proactively.

Candidate Profile

• Previous leadership experience in retail store operations.
• Proven ability to meet and surpass sales objectives.
• Strong leadership skills capable of motivating high-performing teams and cultivating a positive environment.
• Effective prioritization skills to handle multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently.
• Commitment to maintaining workplace health and safety standards.
• Solid understanding of business principles and acumen.
• Adaptability to changing workplace demands and environments.
• Excellent interpersonal abilities to build relationships with customers and colleagues.
