Job Overview

We are seeking a poised and attentive Restaurant Waiter to join the food and beverage team at Villamore Restaurant, located in Dubai. This role involves delivering courteous, professional, and efficient service to guests while upholding the high hospitality standards and values synonymous with Kempinski Hotels. The ultimate goal is to boost sales through excellent service and ensure maximum guest satisfaction.

Key Duties

• Consistently provide respectful, professional, and efficient guest service.
• Perform all assigned tasks and duties aligned with the outlet’s operational requirements.
• Maintain comprehensive knowledge of all hotel services and products.
• Possess a thorough understanding of the food and beverage items available in the designated department.
• Present menus and offer detailed explanations regarding portions, ingredients, or allergy-related queries upon guest request.
• Skillfully upsell menu items and suggest alternatives to elevate guest experience and revenue.
• Take precise food and beverage orders using point of sale (POS) systems, order slips, or memorization techniques.
• Communicate orders clearly to kitchen staff to ensure accuracy.
• Serve food and beverages promptly and courteously.
• Set tables properly and maintain cleanliness and orderliness in the dining area throughout service.
• Handle billing by delivering checks and processing payments reliably.
• Manage operating supplies and equipment to minimize waste and spoilage effectively.
• Keep the workplace and surrounding areas clean, organized, and presentable at all times.
• Carry out opening and closing procedures as per outlet protocols.
• Address guest inquiries courteously, escalate feedback or complaints to supervisors, and ensure timely follow-up.

Qualifications & Experience

• Possess 1 to 2 years of experience in a similar food and beverage role.
• Experience preferably gained in an international luxury five-star hotel environment.
• Strong command of the English language with excellent communication skills.
